Notice of Public Hearing for Province Street Apartments

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted in the City Council Meeting Room (upper floor, ADA accessible) at Laconia City Hall located at 45 Beacon St. E, Laconia, New Hampshire from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, with respect to a proposal for financing by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority for a project known as Province Street Apartments. NH Housing intends to approve the use of $3,670,000 in Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) monies as part of the financing; however, the amount approved may be decreased or increased at NH Housing’s discretion. The proposed $26,957,000 project will be located at 244 Province Street, Laconia, NH. The project will create 90 apartments of general occupancy, affordable housing. The sponsor of the proposed project will be Anagnost Investments, Inc. located in Manchester, NH.

NH Housing is the administrator of the Affordable Housing Fund pursuant to RSA 204-C:56-62 and has established Rules for the administration of the Affordable Housing Fund (HFA 113).

Written comments will be accepted for two business days following the public hearing and must be received by email or physical delivery no later than 4:30 PM on May 26, 2023.
