Grant Applications Sought for Affordable Housing Initiatives

EMERGING OPPORTUNITIES GRANT PROGRAM OFFERS FUNDING FOR NONPROFITS 

(Bedford, March 23, 2017) – New Hampshire-based nonprofits engaged in affordable housing activities are invited to apply for funding through New Hampshire Housing’s Emerging Opportunities Grant Program. This grant program encourages and supports new, innovative initiatives related to affordable housing; applications are due April 28th.

Initiatives must be directly related to an improvement in an organization’s structure, leading to long-term sustainability of the organization, a substantial expansion of existing services, or the addition of new services. Nonprofit organizations that have as their primary mission the development of, or advocacy for, housing in New Hampshire that serves very-low to moderate income households are eligible to apply. Details about the Emerging Opportunities Grant Program and application guidelines are at NHHFA/grant-opportunities. Funding decisions will be approved by the New Hampshire Housing Board of Directors and announced in late June.
