Project Rental Assistance
The program is made possible through a partnership between New Hampshire Housing and the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services, Bureau of Mental Health Services.
The 811 PRA Program in New Hampshire:
- Supports Independent Living: Provides extremely low-income, non-elderly persons with severe mental illness the opportunity to live as independently as possible.
- Coordinates Voluntary Services: Ensures access to necessary support services, which are voluntary and tailored to individual needs.
- Offers Subsidized Housing: Provides a choice of subsidized housing options that are integrated within the community.
