New Hampshire Housing is hosting virtual listening sessions to solicit feedback on the NH Housing Opioid Use Disorder Supportive Housing Capital Program (the Program) on the following dates:

DateTime

September 5, 20243:00 PM – 4:00 PM
September 9, 202411:00 AM – 12:00 PM

NH Housing is seeking stakeholder input for the Program design, including Program rules and funding priorities. The Program will provide capital funding to projects that create new supportive housing for households with a member who has Opioid Use Disorder and other co-occurring disorders and conditions. Click here to read the full public notice.

The listening sessions will be limited to ten participants to allow for more focused discussion. Additional listening sessions may be scheduled if there is sufficient demand.

Interested participants should be prepared to share suggestions on the program design based on relevant experience in supportive housing development, service provision to individuals with Opioid Use Disorder, lived experience, etc. Examples of Program design questions that NH Housing is considering and seeking feedback on are outlined below:

  • The Program will be designed similarly to NH Housing’s current Supportive Housing Program.  Which aspects of the current Supportive Housing Program are relevant to this Program, and which may need to be revised? To read the prior year’s (FY 24) Supportive Housing Program NOFO, please click here.
  • There is a spectrum of housing models, including level/type of supportive services and program/residency duration, available for people in recovery from substance use disorder. What are the considerations related to capital and operating funding that are needed to make these program models successful and where are the gaps in the existing housing program models relative to need?

Registration links are below. Participants may only register to attend one listening session.

Register: September 4 at 10:00 AM

Register: September 5 at 3:00 PM

NH Housing intends to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Program during its current fiscal year ending in June 2025. More information will be posted regarding the NOFO issue date and other Program updates on NH Housing’s website at NHHousing.org. After the NOFO has been issued, NH Housing will host an information session to go over the NOFO and requirements to apply for funds.
